Grandma and three grandsons die in house fire after boys stayed 'so she wouldn't be alone at Christmas'

The boys' parents, who lived just two doors down, rushed to the scene of the tragedy in the early hours of Boxing Day but all three children and their grandmother perished
A grandma and her three grandchildren were killed in a Boxing Day housefire, after the kids went to stay with her because they "did want her to be alone" at Christmas.
Terry Harris, 60, and three of her grandsons Kenyon, 14, Broderick, 11, and Braylon, nine, died yesterday after the blaze engulfed the home in Washington Court House - a city in Ohio.
The children's devastated parents were understood to live just two doors down from Ms Harris, and ran to the house within minutes of the fire taking hold at around 4am.

Fayette County Sheriff Vernon Stanforth told reporters at the house: "They wanted to spend Christmas night with grandma because they didn't want her to be alone on Christmas night."
Pictures from the scene showed the house almost completely burned to the ground, with fire officers left picking through the blackened ruins.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but news station NBC4i reportsinvestigators have not found any smoke detectors among the wreckage.
Ms Harris' body was found close to the front door, with the children behind her.
Sheriff Stanforth added: "We're just assuming she was by the front door, that she was trying to corral the children to help them get out."
